Reiki is a simple Japanese energy-balancing technique which can make beneficial changes to mind, body and spirit.

Reiki is an original method of healing developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 1900's. Pronounced “ray-key” it is a system that uses healing energy, known as 'Ki'. When this energy becomes disrupted or blocked, it is believed that stress and disease could follow.

 

The Practitioner will gently lay their hands on the body in a series of hand positions, sometimes hovering rather than touching. Each hand position is held for a few minutes. Energy is then drawn through the practioner into the recipient, helping to produce a state of balance.

What might I feel?...

 

A sense of calm, heat from the practitioner's hands, perhaps tingling, a feeling of floating. It varies from one person to another. No matter what you feel, Reiki is giving you exactly what you need.

How many treatments will I need?
